Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara has opened within Community Care of West Niagara

Beamsville, ON – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara (BBBSN) has secured a new office location in West Niagara. Starting January 2023, Big Brothers Big Sisters will have an office inside the Community Care of West Niagara (CCWN) building at 4309 Central Ave, Beamsville.

With this new location, the goal is to serve more children and youth, recruit more volunteers, strengthen partnerships and increase our programs and services in West Niagara. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara looks forward to increasing their presence in all areas of Niagara and collaborating with other social service providers.

Although they have different focuses and service models, there are parallels between the two charitable organizations.

BBBS and CCWN offer essential community services.
Individuals in need can come to Community Care of West Niagara and obtain food, clothing and emergency assistance. Community Care of West Niagara helps to bridge the gap to self-sufficiency by supporting our community members experiencing poverty.
Big Brothers Big Sisters provides mentoring services and support for vulnerable children and youth ages 6 to 18 and their families. Children and youth who receive mentorship from a caring adult have higher self-confidence and are better equipped to overcome life’s challenges. The demand for Big Brothers Big Sisters services is at an all-time high in Niagara.

BBBS and CCWN both rely on support from individuals and businesses to provide services.
Community Care of West Niagara is able to provide assistance thanks to generous donations, community investors and selfless volunteers.
Big Brothers Big Sisters ignites the power and potential of young people thanks to support from volunteer mentors, donors and fundraisers.
