Project Potential is a community fundraising initiative supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara (BBBSN) that your business can ran anytime! Many businesses choose to run it for a month-long period, but you can run it for any length of time that works in your business plan. Participating business invite customers to make a $2 donation at time of purchase, and anyone who donates receives a lighting bolt post card with a space for their name that can then be written on and displayed in your business. As the display of lightning bolts grows it creates a powerful visual showing how small contributions can make a BIG impact.

So, what do you do?

  1. Connect with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara, and let us know your interested in running a campaign!
  2. Pick your campaign period.
  3. Receive signage and other marketing materials from BBBSN.
  4. Display posters in your business to promote the campaign.
  5. Invite customers to donate $2 to Project Potential at time of purchase.
  6. Collect donations in the provided cash box or direct customers to the QR code on the box to make an online donation.
  7. Ask anyone who donates if they want to sign a lightning bolt post card.
  8. Submit the cash box and any other leftover materials to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara at the end of your campaign!
