THE BRANSCOMBE FAMILY FOUNDATION
Is a private charitable organization located in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Founded in 1977 by Frank and Mildred Branscombe, its current objectives are to promote higher education for students graduating from secondary schools and to assist in the improvement of the quality of health care and selected social programs in The Regional Municipality of Niagara.
The Foundation has been funded primarily by Frank and Mildred Branscombe and River Realty Development (1976) Inc., as well as through the private donations of the Branscombe family and other close, personal friends. Since its inception the Foundation has distributed over $10 million to charitable and educational organizations in Ontario and the Niagara Region.
WISE GUYS CHARITY FUND
Over the past decades, the Wise Guys Charity Fund has worked with dozens of deserving organizations in the Niagara Region, giving them the resources they need to provide the best possible care to the people they serve. By fundraising for Niagara, we’re able to keep improving our local community. We do this by relying on the region’s citizens, rather than the government. It allows us to independently allocate the funds, and distribute them as quickly as possible without any red tape. We’ve found it to be the best system, because it creates change at a grassroots level. By being active, responsible participants in our community’s day-to-day development, we are able to create real-world change. It’s just that simple.
CANADIAN TIRE JUMPSTART CHARITIES
Jumpstart is more than just about getting kids active. It’s about giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbours, their classmates and their friends. Whether it’s the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favourite one, no kid should be left out.
